Research Summary
|
|
In order to create a humanoid robot that can intelligently move within the real world, motion planning based on visual environment recognition is essential. In order to reach a goal while avoiding objects on the floor, the robot must be able to detect transversible regions based on visual topographical information and then plan a trajectory that fulfills geometric, mechanical, and dynamic restrictions. At our laboratory, we are performing research to develop visual environment recognition and planning through searching behaviors.
